Help at Home: Parent Coaching
The process begins with a thorough assessment of your family’s individual needs, including discussions with parents and teachers, a review of previous evaluations/reports, and a home observation. Parents will then have a weekly session during which I offer practical strategies and actionable steps to support your child’s emotional regulation and reduce challenging behavior.
Coaching sessions may involve:
- Understanding your child’s behaviors and any diagnoses they may have
- Learning how to use effective parenting strategies
- Learning how to respond to your child when they are experiencing an emotional or behavioral “meltdown”
- Managing challenging behaviors related to daily home routines, toilet training, sibling interactions, and more!
Help at Your Child’s School: Behavior Consultation
If teachers are expressing concerns about your child’s development or behavior at school, I am available for a classroom observation to assess your child’s needs and consult with the teaching staff to offer support strategies. If needed, I can guide families through the educational evaluation process and help you access further support services for your child.

Nadine has been by my side through some of my most challenging parenting moments over the past 3 years. She is patient, non-judgmental, positive, empathetic and kind- which combined make her the BEST at what she does. I often find myself stopping to think “What would Nadine tell me to do?” when I hit a parenting stumbling block…. She gave me the tools I desperately needed to become a better parent to my neurodiverse child.
